The MoB Supports Make-A-Wish Australia

For over a decade we’ve been raising funds for Make-A-Wish. As Ballarat’s largest corporate fundraiser we’ve contributed over $10,000 dollars raised at our annual Scale Model Exhibition & Swap ‘n’ Sell Model Show.

In 2017 we’re doing it again. Showcasing the modelling skills and interests of the MoB’s members. There’ll be:

  • Models galore, and the modellers who built them to talk to, and
  • Vendors selling kits, bits and books.

Subjects covered include:

  • Tanks, armoured cars and soft skinned military vehicles,
  • Civilian and military aircraft,
  • Naval and Maritime ships, boats, and submarines,
  • Dioramas,
  • Cars, Trucks and Construction equipment,
  • Science fact and fiction space craft, robots, figures, and
  • Trains, and
  • Any other subjects our members care to model

Where: The Eastwood Centre – 20 Eastwood St, Ballarat Central VIC 3350

When: Sunday August 6th, 2017 – 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Entry fees for the 2017 show are:

  • Adults: $5
  • Children: $2
  • Family (2 x Parents/Carers and child): $10 – additional children are free when you buy a family ticket

Vendor Information

Vendor tables are available. Cost is $20 per table.

    Hi, just curious on when the swap meet is on. The Cheltenham Club are having theirs on the 22/23 Apr. I expect that most of the vendors that would normally go to the Ballarat venue will most likely go to the Cheltenham event as it’s geographically closer, if it’s on the same day.
